Happy Valentine's Day! Whenever a holiday comes around I just have to make cards and give them out; it makes for a much more personal gift and motivates me to write more thoughtful messages. Here they are! I credit the calligraphy on them to my lovely mother who has a gift with lettering.  This one was a birthday gift for my dad. Whenever I look at this little guy I can't help smiling. This is the first time I have painted on Tan Tone Strathmore Mixed Media paper, and I like it.  Here is a cute botanical heart with a more brown color scheme. I love this cute guy!  Hello again! Feburary already! I've been busy! I just finished midterms and after studying my brains out I had to vent some stress and draw. Here is a bit of my best. I am trying the same thing but with paints---there's a difference for sure! I hope to post some of that soon, but for now check these out.  Recognize her? If you know my sisters you might :) This one I did before the first. I went a little rogue and tried to adjust features to how I liked them---maybe not my best, but I rather like the hair.
